Prevention
As a counsellor my main focus is on recovery in the event of frequent overload and imminent burnout or breakdown. It is my experience that by intervening on time with the use of counselling, dropout due to work-related complaints is prevented or limited. In addition to work-related complaints, dealing with colleagues, work team and manager, attention is also paid to stress relief, competences, work/private balance and other problems at work or home.
Other psychological complaints can also affect functioning. I treat these complaints myself or refer to specialized help in consultation with the general practitioner or company doctor.
Short intensive guidance gives employees motivation and responsibility.
